If you are looking for digital
video projector hire in Glasgow, electronic data projection, audio-visual
equipment rentals, multimedia projections & screens, and hiring
audio visual display gear then you are in the right place as GLASGOW
PROJECTOR HIRE are here to help you. We have a stock of high quality
digital video projectors & projection equipment available for rental
from our Glasgow warehouse which meet your audio-visual requirements
with the minimum of fuss and maximum impact. Our
hire stock of digital video projectors come in two basic types, the
selection of which will depend upon the end use (screen size, numbers
of people, lighting conditions, and projection source should all be
considered). We will be happy to discuss your requirements with you
and make a recommendation for the most cost effective solution for the
job. The two basic digital projector types are SVGA units & XGA
units, which, if you are unsure of what this means, refers to the native
resolution (or screen size in pixels) of the projector. Digital video
projectors with a higher resolution will invariably also be brighter.
Electronic projector brightness is measured in the units ANSI LUMENS,
which like watts in the case of amplifiers, are open to a bit of interpretation.
All our projector rental stock is independently tested to ensure that
they are bright! After all, there is no point in having a 2500 ANSI
lumen projector which is not as bright as a 1500 ANSI lumen projector
as the only thing that matters is the end user display, which must be
top quality. We have found inferior brands where this is exactly the
case, and needless to say we do not stock these items in our hire stock.
We will sell them to end users if you so desire but we always recommend
quality over cheapness, when the savings are relatively small.
Our digital projectors can be used with a variety of input sources as
required. They will happily work from a laptop computer, notebook computer,
PC or MAC computer, DVD player, VHS cassette player, TV Tuner, Freeview
box, Cable box, XBox or PS2 games console, plus various other devices
which can output a video source. They will work from PAL or NICAM inputs
(for those rare occasions when NICAM is required). They will accept
input resolutions of VGA, SVGA, XGA & SXGA with an aspect ration
of 4:3 (ie. standard not widescreen format). Available input connectors
are VGA (D-sub), component video (3 x RCA), composite video, S-video.
DVI (Digital Video Interface) inputs are also available on most electronic
projection units. Although all our projectors have speakers we do not
recommend using them as they are of a fairly poor quality so for audio
playback a separate system must be provided, which we will be happy
to do by arrangement. The size of system required will depend upon the
size of audience and the audio material being reproduced - Obviously,
for those hoping to replicate an earthquake whill playing an XBox or
PS2 game will need a bit more sub - bass power in their system, while
a simple audio playback for a few people may only require a set of self-powered
computer speakers (or similar).
If you are unsure of your exact technical requirements then please give
us a call and we'll be happy to make a recommendation, and offer you
a competitively priced quote. To confirm a hire we will require written
confirmation on headed notepaper (where appropriate) and with a purchase
order number if your systems require one to authorise payment. For non-account
customers we will require full payment upon collection from our warehouse
(or delivery to your desired location). Photographic ID & proof
of address will be required upon commencement of the hire. Delivery
& collection can be arranged although a charge will be made dependant
upon distances & times involved. Please note that customers are
liable for goods damaged or lost whilst in their possession at full
replacement rate. Please call for a quote.
